Resource Actions Menu
The Resource Actions tool opens a menu with six options, which are described here. These actions are related to resources i.e. resources will be involved in the actions.
The Resource Action menu lists six actions –
The Approval action can be used in a workflow when a resource is required to approve the output of a preceding action, typically a request. You can set the properties of this action in the corresponding Properties Window.
The Checklist action can be used in a workflow to send a checklist to a resource(s) with a provision to complete it.
The Information action can be used in a workflow to send information to a resource(s).
The Notification action can be used in a workflow to send a notification to a resource(s).
The ResourceSet action can be used in a workflow when a resource(s) is required to set the resource who will execute the next action from a list that is provided.
The Task action can be used in a workflow to assign a task to a resource(s).
