Skelta Workflow Design in Action

This topic will help you understand the Workflow process with the help of a Sample Workflow Application developed using Skelta Workflow.NET. The Sample Application is supplied to you along with your installation of Skelta Workflow.NET. You will also get an insight into the efficiency, effectiveness and power of Skelta WorkFlow.NET through the examples discussed.

Note:  You need to install the Sample Application in order to use this topic and the three sub-topics listed below.

The Sample Application uses Workflows to manage the following processes:

  1. Leave Application
  2. Product Enquiry
  3. Expense Declaration

The Workflow for these processes are defined using the Process Designer, which is the core component of Skelta Workflow.NET. The Process Designer has a set of standard actions used to define workflow processes using a simple drag, drop and link method. You can easily modify the workflow process in the Process Designer, to suit changed requirements in a business process. For example, you could change the resource(s) who should approve a request for leave to reflect a change in the organizational structure.
