One of the main features of Logistix Workflow.NET is its simple yet effective plug-n-play attribute. Embeddable 'actions',
that are a part of the Logistix Process Designer, are core contributors to this unique property of Logistix Workflow.NET.
The Logistix Process Designer control is integral to the designing of a workflow that maps to actual process flows. It
contains a set of standard actions that are used to define every action (activity) that occurs in any workflow. These actions
are located in the Toolbox and can be activated by simply dragging and dropping the respective action onto the Design Area,
from where they can be linked together to form the workflow process.
The Actions are listed in Menus which conveniently
group related actions. Some of the most commonly used
actions are described in detail below:
- Resource
Actions - are a
group of actions that relate directly to resources and
where resources will be directly involved in the
execution of these actions.
- Engine
Actions - are
actions that are performed by the workflow engine
without direct involvement of resources.
- Database
Actions -
involves any actions that have a direct impact on the
database.
- Miscellaneous
Actions -
are actions that cannot be categorized but are
nevertheless important.
- Link
Action - is the connector between actions.
