What's New in Skelta Workflow.NET

- Skelta Workflow.NET Release 1.8 incorporates a comprehensive
Report Generation utility that adds report generation
functionality to Skelta Workflow.NET. It allows the
user to generate and view reports of the workflow
processes created in the Process Designer.
The Report Control has an extensive query engine that
allows you to customize reports. Some of the various
levels of detail possible are:
- Graphical Display of status, paths and time metrics
- Data Presentation on multiple workflows in multiple
views
- Reports based on actions, resources, workflows,
states and exceptions
- Action event logger, using which actions can
log information and events to the database; these
logs can be viewed through the reporting control.
- Another new feature added in Release 1.8 is Workflow
Control. Now you can Pause and Restart running workflows,
and Stop them if necessary. You can also view activity
details like the time taken for individual actions
to execute.
- Release 1.8 includes the MS Access data handler
among the new features.
- It also features an Active directory resource handler.
- Also new in Release 1.8 is the SOAP Wrapper web
service for accessing the workflow engine features.
- Skelta Workflow.NET Release 1.8 has undergone performance
tuning.
- Another useful feature that is new in Release 1.8
is the Multilevel debugging facility. This allows
users to configure the level of debugging detail displayed
in the Skelta Logger Console.
- Skelta Workflow.NET Release 1.8 features easy product
activation.
- More sample applications have been provided with
Release 1.8, along with source code, to enable better
understanding of the product.
- Skelta Workflow.NET Release 1.8 is backed up by
comprehensive documentation such as Online Help, User
Guide and API Reference, that you can refer to when
needed.
